Product Description
Organic Lanolin Balm
Still want solid lanolin? Well, at least this stuff smells good! Blended with organic wool-conditioning oils, this balm is smooth and silky, not sticky. It's like buttah! Take out a tiny bit, spread it on your palms, then pat it into your wool. Lanolizing is now complete!
If you insist, you can lanolize the traditional way (in water) with a pea sized dollop of this balm and it won't blob up either!
Scented with an essential oil blend of Lavender Chamomile. Available in 2oz, 4oz and a 1/4oz trial pot (think lip gloss pot - Enough to lanolise up to 4 soakers).
Use and Care
When your wool needs to be lanolized, simply scoop out a pea-sized dollop of the balm and spread it over your palms. Gently pat it into the inside and repeat on the outside of the cover or soaker. DONE! Using this balm, you can re-lanolize a cover that does not need to be washed and use it right away. If you prefer wet-lanolizing, melt a pea-sized dollop of the balm in hot water and add it to a sink-full of luke-warm water. Let the wool soak in the water as long as it is warm. Remove the wool from the water (it's even better to let the water drain through the wool, rather than just allowing the lanolin to be sucked down the drain), lay it flat on a towel and roll it up to absorb excess moisture, if you wish, but it will also remove most of the lanolin you just put on it! A gentle squeeze is better and then lay your wool flat to dry.
Store upright in a cool, dry place with the sealing disc in place and the lid screwed tight. Contents may shift during shipping, especially during warm weather. Usually, gravity will do it's work and the balm will re-settle. Another option is a warm window or placing the jar, tightly closed in a bowl of hot water.
